Model 310 Battery Operated AC Cardiac Fibrillator

OPERATION

​

1.Connect electrode pad to fibrillator following pad instructions on bag (make sure control knob on fibrillator is set to off or neutral position).

2. Position the sterile electrode pad under the myocardium.

3.To induce fibrillation turn power control knob to the FULL Power position.  If necessary, otherwise not recommended, you may use the LOW Power position to maintain fibrillation. Full scale value of this control is approximately 18 volts peak-to-peak.  The fibrillator presents “no shock hazard” to the user. 

POWER SOURCE

Internally sealed long life lithium battery. 

LIGHT INDICATOR

The light indicator is intended for test purposes only; it means the unit has adequate output without a load.  When a load is applied to unit, or when it is fibrillating, this light may dim or go totally out; this is not an indication that the unit is faulty or not in proper working order. 

TECHNICAL DETAILS

Model 310C fibrillator generates a 85 hertz square-wave output signal that is more conducive to fibrillation than 50 or 60 hertz line voltage models.  The output in the high or full power position is approximately 18 volts peak-to-peak ( 250  ohm impedance in this position), and in low power position 9 volts peak-to-peak.  These outputs should be checked with an oscilloscope, not with a volt meter. Unit is equipped with a Standby mode (to conserve battery power) that it automatically switches to if unit is inadvertently left on for more than twenty (20) minutes. 

WARRANTY

The ModelC is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.  This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse or mishandling.  The limited warranty of the manufacturer is the replacement of the device.  No other warranty is made or implied.
